Robert would absolutely love a beach wedding in the Caribbean, somewhere such as The Bahamas. Being realistic, however, he understands that this would make it difficult for the family, and even more so for our friends, to attend. But you can bet that wherever the wedding is, there will be some aspects of the wedding that will tie into such a theme.Kaela hasn't mentioned many specifics of what she imagines aside from wanting an outdoor wedding. You can imagine, though, that some of the elements might resemble soo many of the details you've seen in movie scenes over the years. She has mentioned, however, that she wouldn't mind a small rain sprinkle at the end of the ceremony - so bring an umbrella!
Ok, seriously, where's the wedding?
We've decided to hold our wedding ceremony outside at Coffman Park in Dublin, Ohio. The park will be very pretty, will allow us to easily have a non-denominational ceremony, and will save us a bundle because the rental is cheap. We'll put the money we save towards the reception! The reception will be held at the Dublin Recreation Center. We'll enjoy a very large banquet hall that will serve as a blank canvas for us to decorate with our beach theme. Since the chairs, tables, dance floor, staging, video projectors and screens, and other awesomeness is included, we'll save a lot of money and be able to spend plenty on food, decor, and entertainment!
The Community Hall will also serve as a backup location for the ceremony in the event that we experience bad weather the afternoon of the ceremony.
